After School Tutoring

The After-School Tutoring program is one of Casa Esperanza’s core programs, providing free tutoring sessions for at-risk students who need one-on-one help with their homework and classroom assignments. Students are supervised by Casa Esperanza staff and volunteer tutors where they are given the opportunity to do their homework, study, and use the computers in Casa Esperanza’s computer lab. Parents provide Casa Esperanza with their child’s progress report and report cards, allowing staff and volunteers to gauge areas in need of improvement.

The program operates from Monday-Thursday, 3:30-5:30pm.
